About the Course
The PADI Scuba Diver course is perfect if you’re short on time but eager to dive into the underwater world. As a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course, this course is an ideal starting point for those who want to experience scuba diving, particularly when diving with a guide. It’s also a great intermediate step toward obtaining your Open Water Diver certification.
What You’ll Be Qualified to Do:
- Dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet).
- Rent or purchase scuba equipment and participate in dive activities while properly supervised.
- Continue your dive training towards the PADI Open Water Diver certification or other specialty courses.
Prerequisites:
- You must be 10 years old or older.
- Good swimming skills and being in good physical health are required.
- No prior scuba diving experience is necessary, but you can try diving first through the Discover Scuba Diving program.
